Statement on Recent Service Disruptions in North America

Dear Valued Customers,

We sincerely apologize for the recent service disruptions experienced on the commercebuild Platform in North America on July 23, July 25 and August 1. These interruptions, which lasted a few minutes each, were caused by our systems scaling up to handle unexpected, extreme traffic bursts. While background services continued to operate normally, there was a delay during the scaling process that led to these disruptions.

As an immediate response, we have blocked the known IPs that were responsible for these traffic bursts while increasing our rate limits and enhancing our monitoring systems. We have made the necessary changes to add an additional security layer to our defenses. This new security layer will provide more sophisticated traffic control and significantly reduce the risk of future disruptions.

We take these incidents very seriously and deeply regret any inconvenience they may have caused you and your customers. Please rest assured that we are committed to ensuring the stability of our platform and maintaining your confidence in our services.

If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to reach out to us at support[@]commercebuild.com.

Thank you for your understanding and continued support.

Sincerely,

The commercebuild Team
